What happens after 30 days?
The promotional introductory rates are applicable for the first 30 days of service. After 30 days, your rate plan will be converted to Standard Plan (no monthly fee) but you will have the option to change it to any one of the TEL3 plans as you wish either from your back-office or by calling Customer Service at 1.800.482.4459.

Before your 30 days is up, we will recommend you by email the best plan for you based on your usage pattern so that you can save the most. All you have to do is to choose the plan:

The most popular calling plan for frequent users who place both domestic and international calls. Even though there is a small monthly fee of $1.95, you will save more with less cost per minute to all destinations. See plans comparison.

Ideal for casual users who place fewer international calls and moderate domestic calls. Your savings will be still up to 80% on all calls compared to market standards and there is no monthly fee. See plans comparison.

Our SmartPlug Software is Free to download and you will be placing calls at a fraction of the cost by simply going to your address book, choosing your contact and placing direct international calls. This is how we build our business over the last 14 years and it is why we are still leading the market. There are three extra charges that may occur other than our per minute charges:

  1. If calls are made from one of the locations indicated on the chart, additional add-on rates will apply.
  2. FCC mandated payphone fees (69 cents per call) will apply if the calls are originated from a payphone.
  3. Your domestic airtime charge by your wireless service provider may apply if the calls are originated from your cell phone and you have exceeded your monthly minute based on your existing wireless plan.

DISCLAIMER: NO NEED TO CHANGE CARRIERS. TEL3 long distance services can be used with your home phone, cell phone and with any other private touch-tone phones. Your flat domestic rate will vary depending on the calling plan you choose. No access fees, surcharges or any hidden fees. Using the TEL3 service from your cell phone may accumulate charges to your wireless bill by pressing the pound (#) key. For some wireless service providers, the pound key activates another line in which your wireless service connects the call for you instead of TEL3. In such cases, TEL3 is not responsible for any charges that may accrue onto your cell phone bill. A valid credit card is required to acquire service. Any and all Free Minutes Talk Time is only valid in the forty-eight (48) contiguous United States. All International Rates are subject to change without notice. Any and all Free Domestic Talk Time offer(s) are only valid with a calling plan purchase. Monthly service fee(s) will be deducted from the calling plan balance upon purchase of the long distance calling plan. Government mandated taxes and fees may apply. FCC mandated payphone surcharges of sixty-nine ($0.69) cents per call may apply. Calls originating from a payphone are subject to FCC mandated payphone fees. Additional charges may apply for calls made from Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam and other international destinations. All balances will expire in one (1) year of inactivity. Cancellation of Service: The customer is free to cancel the service at anytime. Remaining balance of the account can be refunded only in case of a technical problem. Customers must call TEL3 customer service to close their accounts.
