How to use tel3 from Network Countries

Save more with International
access numbers


With International access numbers you pay only couple cents a minute even for cell phone calls. All you have to do is to give the access numbers to your family abroad and have them call you back. It is much cheaper to call the U.S. or Canada. Same easy features, same convenience for much less.

How it works


1. How do I place a call?

To place a call from one of our Network Countries simply dial the Local or National Access Number for that location followed by 00 + Country Code + City Code + Phone Number. Find country dial codes here.

2. How can I get Customer Service assistance?

To reach Customer Service simply dial the Local or National Access Number from your International location, and select 0* when you hear the TEL3’s welcome greeting. You will be connected to our Customer Service automatically. We are available 7 days a week from 9am - 8pm EST and look forward to helping you with any of your questions.

3. Are there any additional fees associated?

There is no additional fee charged by TEL3. However, if you plan on using your US based mobile phone please check with your carrier to inquire about roaming and additional fees in that location. If you are using a local phone please inquire with the local carriers about any additional fees, charges, and surcharges.

4. What are the benefits of having friends and family use my account?

It is much cheaper to call the U.S. or Canada than you calling them overseas. With International access numbers you pay only couple cents a minute even for cell phone calls when they call you back.

5. Can I use my iPhone or Android app from an international Location?

TEL3’s Android dialer now allows you to select international access numbers on the Settings screen. We are planning to add the same feature to our iPhone app shortly.

6. Can the service be used from an International pay Phone?

As long as it’s within one of our Network Countries our service can be used from a pay phone. You will still need to make payment for the local call to reach TEL3's access number for that country.

7. If my country is listed but not the city, can I still use the service?

As long as there is a national coverage access number you will still be able to place your calls. Otherwise, you may incur long distance charges if you place a call using access number from another city.

8. How can I let my friends and family use my account?

All you have to do is to give the international access numbers to your family abroad, register their phone numbers with your TEL3 account as an Instant Access Number and have them call you back by dialing the TEL3’s number in their country. Same easy features, same convenience for much less.
