How does the the TEL3 App work?

All calls made with the the TEL3 App will be connected
via TEL3’s platform so you can save.
Here’s how it works:
- Step 1: Choose to dial a number from
the keypad, contacts, or speed dial
- Step 2: Click on Green button
- Step 3: Listen to the prompt while we
connect your call by our platform
Important Notes
- Please make sure you have registered your
Android’s phone number with TEL3. Learn more on how to
register your phone here.
- Please make sure you dial all your international calls
(except for Canada) starting with "011" or
"+" followed by the country code (e.g. 011 (44) 305
556 7879) before making a call.
- The the TEL3 App uses a quick dial feature that
allows your calls to be connected faster. Please note that
this feature requires an active Internet connection. If there
are any connectivity issues, the the TEL3 App will place
your calls via the regular dialing method.

What is TEL3 App?

TEL3 App is an application designed for iPhone and
Android phones. It allows our users to dial their destination
numbers directly from their smart cell phones without having
to dial an access number.

How do I download the the TEL3 App to my Android
phone?

You can download the TEL3 App Android app from the
Android Marketplace on your Android phone or online.

Why does the the TEL3 App not work properly although
I downloaded it from the Android Marketplace?

- Make sure you have registered your Android phone
number with your TEL3 Account. You can do that easily by
adding your Android’s phone number as an Instant Access
number on your online account manager. If you don’t
already have a TEL3 account, don’t worry; signing up is
easy, instant and actually rewarding!
- Please make sure the international number you dial
starts with a "+" or "011" followed by
the destination number.

Does the rate change when making calls with the
the TEL3 App?

With the the TEL3 App, you don’t pay any extra
1¢ add-on fees even if the dialer calls via a toll free
number. You can enjoy the same competitive rates when making
calls with TEL3 App!

What if I place a regular domestic call with the
the TEL3 App, will I be charged by TEL3?

Yes, any calls made with the the TEL3 App will go
through the TEL3 system and you will be charged accordingly.

Can I place a call with TEL3 App when I’m in
Canada?

YES. You can place a call with the the TEL3 App when
you are in Canada. However, TEL3 is not responsible for any
roaming charges applied by your cell phone carrier.

How can I register my Android phone’s number
with TEL3?

You can easily register your Android’s number by
adding it as an Instant Access number under the ACCOUNT
SETTINGS Section in your Online Account Manager.
Call customer service at 1-800-482-4459 if you want us
to do it for you.

How do you know if the call goes through with TEL3?
-
Once you place the call with TEL3 you will hear the TEL3
welcome prompt ("Thank you for using TEL3"). This
prompt is a signal to you that the call is now completing
through the TEL3 service.

What is the Smart Call feature?

With the Smart Call feature you can make international
calls without running the the TEL3 App.
Smart Call intercepts outgoing international calls made
from your regular keypad and reroutes them to TEL3. This
optional feature can either be turned ON/OFF in the settings
section.

How do I sync my speed dial numbers with the
the TEL3 App for Android phones?

- Step 1: Open TEL3 App and touch
"Settings"
- Step 2: Touch "Advanced Settings"
- Step 3: Enable the "Show SpeedDials" option.
- Step 4: Your TEL3 speed dial number will now be available in the "Contacts" screen under "Favorites" section.

How do you change the access number in case of an
issue?

- Open the the TEL3 App and go to the "Settings" screen
- Touch the "Type" option
- Select "Primary" or "Backup" option

What are the requirements?

- Android version compatible with Android 2.3 and
higher
- An active TEL3 account
- Your phone number registered as an Instant Access
Number. Note that your phone number submitted during the
Free Trial is automatically registered by TEL3.
- During the call and in the "Recent Calls"
list the phone application will show the access number (800#
or local access number) followed by the contact’s
number instead of the contact’s name r
