Is the domestic rate different for state-to-state and in-state calls?

No, the domestic rate within the United States is the same for state-to-state and for in-state calls. It does not change. However additional add-on rates can be added for the calls that are made from Alaska (29¢), Hawaii (4¢), British Virgin Islands (10¢), Guam (7.8¢), Puerto Rico (6¢), and Mariana Islands(22¢). Calls originating from a payphone are subject to FCC mandated payphone fees (69¢).

 

How do I get billed?

Tel3 offers online account management so you do not need to deal with the hassle of receiving your bills in the mail and making your payments on time. You are initially billed on your credit card when you sign up for the amount you choose. If you choose automatic recharge option, when your account reaches the $3.00 minimum the system will automatically recharge your account to the initial sign up amount. You can view your bill online real time by simply logging in to your account through Customer Login.

What is the billing increment?

All calls are billed in full minute increments - 1 minute rounding.

Can I pay by check or money order?

The only form of payment we accept is credit card.

Why do I need to use a credit card?

The credit card is the only form of payment that we use. This form of payment allows our clients to recharge their account quickly and easy.

What if I don't have a credit card?

You can use any ATM card that has a VISA or MasterCard logo.

When do you charge my credit card?

When you sign up for Tel3 Prepaid Long Distance Service, you will register with a credit card and purchase a certain amount of service in dollar amount of your choice. You can then add service to your account at any time online or by calling our Customer Support at 1-800-482-4459. Your credit card will be charged at the time you sign up and each time your account is recharged.

My credit card is not going through, what could possibly be wrong?

We currently accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express that were issued in the United States only. We also accept US bank ATM cards with a MasterCard or VISA logo.

What is the refund policy?

Tel3 is a prepaid long distance phone service and we do not issue any refunds.

What if there is an error with my billing?

If there is an error in your account or would like to have clarification, please contact our Customer Support at 1-800-482-4459 between 7am and 12am EST, 7 days a week - immediately. They will be able to help you with any questions you have.

Can I use Tel3's Prepaid Long Distance Service from a pay phone?

Yes you can; however, the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) mandates surcharge fee. A 69¢ fee may be assessed and billed to your account when you use our service from a pay phone. The surcharge fee will appear in your call history after any applicable calls.

Is it true you have absolutely no fees?

The only fee related with Tel3 Long Distance Plans is the monthly fee. This varies with the plan you choose.

Introductory Offer: No monthly fee
Premium Plan: $1.95 monthly fee
Standard Plan: No monthly fee
Mobile Plan: No monthly fee

All balances will expire in one (1) year of inactivity.

Customer Satisfaction Guarantee: During the first 30 days after you sign up, if you are not satisfied with the service for any reason, we will gladly refund the remaining balance.  The customer is free to cancel the service at anytime by calling Customer Service. After 30 days, remaining balance of the account can be refunded only in case of a technical problem.
